Where’s Your Power At?

Do you ever wonder why nothing seems to work out? No matter how hard you try or fight the mountain seems impossible to overcome.

Do the chains of depression, bitterness, anxiety, sin, confusion, anger, and loneliness weigh down your every step? Do you struggle with the guilt of your past or worry about the future? Have you ever wondered what exactly it would take to truly break free? Do you feel powerless to fight your own battle?

I have good news for you! Acts 1:8 Christ declares... “But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you...”

Being filled with the Spirit of God changes your very being immediately. In an instant you literally become a dwelling place of God almighty. Scripture promises that His Spirit is a comforter and a teacher. He first breaks the chains that are holding you captive and then He

immediately begins to grow you, to equip you and to strengthen you. You are the clay, safe in the Potters hands!

You don’t have to live another day bound by pain, or addiction. You are not a slave to sin. You are not forever broken. You are not a mistake. He’s as close as the very mention of His name. Jesus came to bring the Old Testament law to fulfillment, and to forge a new connection with us. He came for the sick, the broken and bruised. In our weakness his strength is perfected.

Stop trying to rely on your own abilities to overcome. Turn to Him in prayer, open to the book of Acts and begin reading about the church; not as you know it today, but as Christ originally established it. Over these many years the Gospel has been twisted, watered down, tamed, bridled and now most church’s don’t even scratch the surface of what’s available for you and I spiritually. That’s why people are hurting and broken without relief....

There is a depth of God, there is a knowledge of His Word, and there is an intimacy with Him that you don’t even know about... aren’t you curious? What have you got to lose? After all...nothing else has worked, has it?

We need His power! And speaking of that power Acts 2:39 says, “For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as The Lord our God shall call.”

It’s real!

It’s available to you,

It will transform you by renewing your mind!

And then instead of those heavy chains, they’ll be replaced with these lifelines:

Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV) “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”

Freedom.

It’s within reach!
